Syria eyes deploying troops to Yemen
Syria is considering sending troops to Yemen to assist in confronting the Houthis, according to Axios. No details have been announced regarding the timing or the potential size of the force. This move comes as part of Damascus's support for the coalition backing the legitimate Yemeni government. It appears that the decision is influenced by regional coordination and Russian support for deploying Syrian forces to the area.
