Last Parliament and Government Session
The article focused on the political and security situation in Lebanon, where a former minister indicated that the current Parliament and government are the last under the current presidential era. There are expectations of internal and external security and political events that could lead to the postponement of parliamentary elections to an unspecified date. It is likely that changes will be made to several ministers without altering the president, and early elections are ruled out due to disagreements over overseas seats. Meanwhile, tensions are escalating as Israeli airstrikes on Lebanese areas continue, resulting in the injury of six people. There are also forecasts of more strikes to come and warnings about ongoing security and political repercussions.
