Four US flight bans to Lebanon canceled
The official announcement has been made regarding the cancellation of four American presidential orders that imposed restrictions on air travel between the United States and Lebanon. This step paves the way for the resumption of direct flights between the two countries. The decision was signed by U.S. President Donald Trump on September 30th, and it repealed previous orders dating back to 1985, 1992, 1998, and 2007, affirming that those restrictions are no longer necessary for aircraft safety. However, the resumption of flights has not yet been determined, as security and operational approvals are still required. No specific date, airlines, or routes have been set. The new flights are expected to enhance communication with the Lebanese community in the United States and to expand tourism and trade between the two nations.
