Zelensky unaware of Trump energy ceasefire
The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky continued to indicate that he was unaware of US President Donald Trump's announcement about a ceasefire in the energy sector between Russia and Ukraine. Kyiv's approval of the ceasefire was linked to Moscow's consent. Trump announced that the agreement between Moscow and Kyiv to cease fire would take effect immediately, calling on both sides to adhere to it and not violate it. Meanwhile, Trump criticized Zelensky's performance from the White House, suggesting that he had not done enough to end the war and proposing the appointment of a new Ukrainian leader capable of negotiating an agreement.
