Dammam Airport Targeted in Attack
The Saudi Civil Aviation Authority announced that Dammam Airport was targeted in a terrorist attack on Sunday evening, following a previous assault on Riyadh Airport hours earlier that resulted in 13 fatalities and hundreds of injuries. Currently, assessments are underway to evaluate the damages and ensure the safety of the facilities in coordination with relevant authorities. This comes amid ongoing attacks on aviation infrastructure within the kingdom. The escalation of operations targeting civil aviation infrastructure is part of a broader series of strategic strikes against other Saudi sites.
