Brazil Lula supporters rally in Bolivia Ave
Supporters of Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva demonstrated on Avenida Bolívar in São Paulo in support of his candidacy in the runoff election, as he competes against Conservative Flávio Bolsonaro after narrowly losing in the first round. The protesters expressed their backing for Lula by raising banners and engaging with him during a celebratory, carnival-like gathering. Lula reaffirmed his commitment to achieving a decent standard of living and a stable democracy, clarifying that the election has become a choice between two options and that he will continue to fight to win. The runoff will take place on October 20, as neither side has achieved a decisive majority, reflecting the ongoing fierce competition in the electoral race.
