Bree talks with health minister and Nabatieh traders
The meeting between Speaker of the Parliament Nabih Berri and the President of the Nabatieh Governorate Traders Association discussed the economic and commercial situation in the city and district. The markets and commercial institutions suffered severe damage due to the ongoing Israeli aggression on southern Lebanon in 2024, which continued into 2026. The delegation called for measures to support the commercial and economic sector, along with clarifications on the implementation mechanisms for the exemptions allocated to the Nabatieh area to ensure they reach those eligible. The meeting also addressed President Berri's support for the resilience of the Lebanese people and the southern region in particular, in addition to discussing the latest political and health developments.
