International star Jessica Biel announced her participation in the comedy-drama film "Downriver," which is the director Sam Jones's first feature-length fictional work. The film's story follows a recently divorced writer who, along with his friend, goes to Montana for a peaceful vacation, only to have their plans complicated by an encounter with an intriguing fishing guide, leading to unexpected events. The film combines humorous and dramatic contrasts and is produced by Artists Equity and Hungry Bull Productions. Its aim is to present a unique cinematic perspective that differs from commercial filmmaking, highlighting emerging talents behind the scenes. Biel's involvement comes as she nears the end of filming the series "The Better Sister" and joins the cast of "Playmates."
