Netanyahu seeks early action on Iran report
Israeli Channel 12 reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu offered U.S. President Donald Trump the possibility of carrying out a large-scale military operation against Iran before the elections, based on monitoring suspicious Iranian moves related to the nuclear program. Initially, Trump showed a willingness to approve such action, but he later withdrew his support for the operation, with an impression that Netanyahu is seeking to launch the attack before the elections to enhance his political position. As the Israeli army and the American leadership continue preparations for the potential decision to carry out military operations against Iran, Netanyahu's office denied exerting pressure on Trump, affirming that ongoing dialogue with the U.S. administration is taking place. Former Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman warns that Netanyahu might take military action against Iran, Hezbollah, or Hamas before the elections, amid reports of possible military options.
