Their role is to evaluate the films competing in various categories, including feature-length narrative films, documentaries, and shorts, as well as special awards such as the Green Gouna Star. The panels include prominent members such as British director Joanna Hogg, composer Khaled Hamad, and Turkish director Yüşim Ostaoglu. There are also dedicated panels for documentaries, short films, and specific criteria to select the best emerging works from Asia.
