Houthis develop Iranian missile with Chinese parts
The *Wall Street Journal* reveals that Yemen's Houthis are developing a version of the Iranian ballistic missile "Khyber Shaken" using imported components from Chinese companies. This development enhances their missile capabilities and brings them closer to producing missiles domestically. Data indicates that the missile's potential range could reach approximately 1,930 kilometers, exceeding the Iranian "Khyber Shaken"'s range of 1,400 kilometers. The missile uses solid fuel, which is easier to transport and allows for increased precision, making it an escalating threat. Reports also show that the Houthis have become more independent in weapon manufacturing, expanding their relations with China and international suppliers, despite China's commitments to an arms embargo. These developments serve as evidence of the Houthis' advancing military capabilities and their shift towards self-reliance in missile production.
