South Korea did not import Iranian oil in September
Korean Customs Service data shows that South Korea, the world's fifth-largest oil importer, did not import any Iranian oil in September compared to the same period last year. However, it imported 10.8 million tons of oil last month, a slight increase from 10.6 million tons in the previous year, reflecting a reduced dependence on Iranian oil due to sanctions and international tensions.
