Al-Basat and Lahoud highlight Beirut Marathon 2026 success
The results of the 2026 Spinneys Beirut Marathon, scheduled for November 29, have become a major focus of economic and tourism interest. Organizers anticipate attracting around 200 professional runners from both Arab countries and abroad, many of whom will be wearing record-breaking times. This is expected to stimulate sectors such as hotels, commerce, and sightseeing tours in Beirut. Coordination has taken place between the Ministries of Economy and Trade, and Tourism, along with the Beirut Marathon Association, to ensure the event's success. This marathon is considered one of the most prominent sporting and national events for the past 23 years, and it is anticipated to boost economic and tourism activity before and after the race.
