Iraqi government formed by consensus
Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaydi succeeded in achieving a political consensus to approve 11 of his cabinet ministers and other candidates, including deputy prime ministers from different alliances, during a parliamentary session attended by 261 deputies. However, Kurdish and Christian disagreements prevented the voting on the Minister of Immigration and the fourth deputy for Al-Zaydi. Al-Zaydi confirmed that the deputies would not receive salaries or allowances and would work in the field as needed, with a reduction in the number of advisers. Additionally, the Kurdistan Democratic Party failed to pass its candidate for the position of Deputy Prime Minister.
