Basil reacts to US court ruling
The Office of Media Relations for the Leader of the Free Patriotic Movement, Gebran Bassil, denied reports claiming that a court ruling was issued against him in Florida, USA. It clarified that the court dismissed the lawsuit on procedural grounds due to lack of jurisdiction in March 2023. Bassil confirmed that he has no connection to the facts related to the case and that it has been resolved in his favor in Lebanese courts through a final judgment. He emphasized his rejection of interfering in matters unrelated to him and stated that he still reserves his legal rights to take appropriate action against anyone who defames his name or misleads others about him.
