Greenspan Ahead in UN Secretary Race
An unofficial poll conducted by the Security Council shows that former Costa Rican Vice President Rebeca Grynspan is leading the race to become the tenth Secretary-General of the United Nations by a narrow margin. However, the final victory remains undecided due to ongoing opposition from some permanent members of the Council. The eventual winner will face significant challenges, including multiple crises such as wars, a decline in the organization's influence, and the need to find consensus among member states. The competition continues, with other candidates still in the running, and potential changes in the race expected in the coming months.
