Al-Mansouriyah to Damascus: Crime details revealed
Officially, the Syrian intelligence agency announced the arrest of Ali Kayali, known as "Meiraj Oural," commander of the Popular Front for the Liberation of the Levantine Corridor, following a raid on a house in the Lebanese town of Al-Mansouriyeh. The operation was carried out unlawfully, as he was kidnapped inside Lebanon and declared imprisoned in Syria, raising questions about Lebanon's sovereignty and the authority of its security agencies. Sources indicate the involvement of on-the-ground facilitation by a local security entity, which threatens the security and stability of the region and reflects tension in the relations between Lebanese and Syrian parties.
