Saudi officers killed in plane crash
A reconnaissance helicopter of the "AH-6" type belonging to the Saudi National Guard was downed and destroyed in the Najran area due to a technical malfunction, resulting in the death of its crew, which comprised two officers. The Saudi Ministry of Defense's spokesperson, Lieutenant General Turki Al-Maliki, denied that the aircraft was shot down by the Houthi group, affirming that the incident was caused by a technical failure and noting that the helicopter was not fired upon. Additionally, Saudi Arabia announced that it intercepted and destroyed two ballistic missiles launched by the Houthis toward Khamis Mushait, as well as intercepting a drone in the Riyadh region, amid ongoing escalation in Yemen.
