Pope's first message after surgery
Summary: Pope Leo XIV appeared publicly for the first time since undergoing a delicate surgical procedure to remove a cancerous tumor from his lung. During the Angelus prayer in St. Peter's Square, he confirmed that he is recovering well and spoke in a natural tone, expressing his readiness to gradually resume his activities. The surgery was performed at Jemili Hospital in Rome, and doctors assured that his condition is now stable, and he has been discharged after careful medical follow-up. This comes after a previous announcement in October about his early surgery to treat the tumor, reflecting his progress in recovery and reassuring the church community.
