Amanda Seyfried potential Oscar documentary nod
The documentary film "You Can See Everything" garnered widespread attention after its screening at the Telluride Film Festival. It offers an intimate and detailed look into Elizabeth Holmes and her partner Billy Evans during the final 34 days before Holmes's 11-year prison sentence, following charges of defrauding investors out of hundreds of millions of dollars in the Theranos company. The film examines the performances of the actors and the use of reenactment techniques, with actress Amanda Seyfried, known for her role in "The Dropout," portraying scenes with Holmes, creating an aura of mystery around her presence. This raises questions about whether her performance is Oscar-worthy. The film presents a unique opportunity to showcase Seyfried's outstanding acting, potentially paving the way for her first-ever nomination for an actress in a documentary. Its success reflects a significant impact on the awards season.
