Yemen government advances in Taiz
The Yemeni government forces continued their advance in Taiz Governorate, making operational gains in the areas of Sinamāt and Asrār in the southeastern part of the city. The Houthi group suffered losses during the clashes. Additionally, warplanes carried out three airstrikes on Houthi gatherings in the areas of Tibbat Al-Danin and Madraat. Meanwhile, armed men loyal to the Houthis blew up the Hejah Al-Abd road, which connects Taiz to Aden, amid increasing restrictions on supply movements following the Houthis' regain of control over vital crossings. On the political front, the Yemeni government called on the Security Council and the United Nations to condemn Houthi attacks on civilian facilities and urged measures to prevent the group from acquiring weapons and missiles.
