Istanbul rains cause five deaths
The unprecedented heavy rainfall that has been falling on Istanbul since Wednesday has raised the death toll to five people, with two individuals still missing. The floods caused a car to be swept away in the Güzpaz area of Kocaeli, resulting in one death and the rescue of another passenger, while a third person remains missing. The Istanbul governor confirmed that the situation is improving with the rainfall ceasing, and evacuation efforts are nearly complete, with the expectation that conditions will return to normal soon.
