The article describes the Lebanese government's escalation against the Hezbollah militia, with the announcement of a nationwide mobilization and the imposition of strict security and judicial measures to confront the militia's use of illegal weapons and its threats to the country's security and stability. The measures include increasing military deployment, investigating militia members, and pursuing those involved in the transportation and smuggling of explosives, while elevating security readiness to the highest level. The article also points to direct threats from Hezbollah and its media outlets aimed at deterring the state from implementing these measures, with the possibility of a severe internal escalation amid fears that the militia might attempt to destroy state institutions if its sovereignty is restored. Sources affirm that a firm stance by the state is essential to maintain sovereignty and security, and that any retreat could lead to a collapse in public trust in Lebanese institutions.
