Trump supports Netanyahu and Iran's new challenge
One week before the Israeli elections, former U.S. President Donald Trump publicly supported Benjamin Netanyahu, boosting his position and raising the possibility of a new joint strike against Iran amidst escalating tensions. Trump affirmed that Israel, under his leadership, had achieved significant successes against Iran, warning that any military action against Tehran could be imminent—especially after Netanyahu issued a national security document suggesting the potential for war against Iran without prior coordination with Washington. This endorsement comes at a time when Iranian threats of a broad retaliatory response are looming, with Iranian warnings that any American attack would have significant repercussions for the region, raising concerns over a potential military escalation in the Middle East.
