Employees' Union Extends Closure to Friday
The Public Administration Employees Association in Lebanon expresses its dissatisfaction with the decline in their salaries' value due to the ongoing financial collapse, as they have become unable to meet basic living necessities. They demand the approval of a fair and unified salary scale that reflects the rising cost of living, as well as an increase in transportation allowances and improvements in social benefits, especially school grants. The association warns of ongoing strikes and the closure of administrations until these demands are met, while continuing open dialogue to ensure employees' rights and achieve the public interest.
