Hamas: Palestinian Female Prisoners Face Escalating Violations
A senior figure in Hamas, Abdel Rahman Shdeed, reported that prisoner Ahmed Zahir Hammidat died inside the Israeli occupation prisons as a result of torture, starvation, and medical neglect, indicating the extent of abuse faced by the prisoners. He also warned of escalating severe violations against Palestinian female prisoners within Israeli prisons, amid rising campaigns of repression and assaults against them. Shdeed emphasized holding the occupation fully responsible for the lives of the prisoners and female inmates, reaffirming that their liberation remains a steadfast national priority, and that the resistance-led people will not abandon them.
