Iraqi Officials Highlight Unprecedented Russia Ties
Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, stated that the rapprochement between Russia and Iran has reached its highest historical levels following Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov's visit to Tehran, which is the first since the start of the war in the Middle East. He explained that the cooperation between the two countries has never been such before, noting that Lavrov continues consultations with Iranian officials to implement the bilateral agreements. Araghchi also emphasized the importance of resolving regional issues through diplomacy and attributed the tensions and security concerns in the Strait of Hormuz to the United States.
