Cycling trip concludes in tragedy
A 79-year-old American woman was found dead, and her husband was seriously injured following a rockfall that occurred while they were riding their bicycles in Ohioipil State Park in Pennsylvania. The woman, Gail Lock, was out for a ride on the "Great Allegheny Passage" trail when rocks collapsed and fell on her, leading to her immediate death. Her husband was airlifted to the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery. Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the collapse, amid previous concerns about the stability of the rock formations in the area.
