Rafiq Hariri Statue Turned into Storage Site
The warehouse located beneath the statue of Martyr President Rafiq Hariri in Ain Al-Mreisseh has been converted into a kitchen and storage area, which are said to be affiliated with an adjacent restaurant. However, the authorities granting approval for this use have not been clearly identified. An investigation is needed into the parties responsible for transforming the space and adapting it for modern uses, amid questions regarding the legal and administrative procedures in place in the area.
