Lebanese Delegation in Military Talks
Attention is focused on the upcoming round of negotiations between Lebanon and Israel, which will be limited to the military and technical aspects, without discussing the political side. The round will concentrate on security issues, explaining Lebanon's demands related to protecting farmers, recovering prisoners, and documenting violations, aiming to follow up on the matters previously discussed in the Rome talks. The Army Commander will oversee the negotiations directly from his office, while the military delegation, led by General Georges Rizkallah, will participate without any changes to its composition, to enhance understanding on security files. There are expectations of American pressure on Israel to support Lebanese demands and improve security and living conditions.
