Iranian Navy reports tanker violation near Strait of Hormuz
The Iranian Navy announced that it had spotted a commercial oil tanker violating the restricted area east of the Strait of Hormuz and set it on fire. They confirmed that the vessel's identity has been determined and emphasized that uncoordinated passage increases insecurity in the region.
