Aoun and Salam direct Rubio's orders in truck case
The article discussed the Lebanese authorities’ decision to refer the truck's case to the Judicial Council at the request of the Minister of Justice, following extensive investigations into the incident that sparked political and security tensions. Sources confirmed that the investigations did not uncover strong evidence against the detained resistance fighters; they proved that they were transporting weapons for the benefit of the resistance, and Hezbollah’s leadership provided clarifications on this matter. However, in response to American pressure, conveyed through Secretary of State Marco Rubio, President Aoun and Prime Minister Nawaf Salam were forced to commit to referring the case. This appears to be a prelude to implementing an agenda aimed at discrediting the resistance and isolating Hezbollah, which could lead to a major strife within the country.
