Raji explosives case risks security transfer to Judicial Council
Foreign Minister Youssef Raji confirmed that the bomb shipment issue threatens the security of the state and must be referred to the Judicial Council. Meanwhile, ministers from the Lebanese Forces Party withdrew from the Cabinet session in protest over the decision not to refer the case. Justice Minister Adel Nassar pledged to continue judicial investigations into the matter, emphasizing that the request for referral to the Judicial Council stems from the fact that the case poses a serious threat to national security. The bomb explosion file at Dahr El-Baidar is expected to be presented to the Judicial Council during the upcoming Cabinet session, amid Hezbollah's escalation regarding the issue and its refusal to accept the state's silence.
