Al-Khatib criticizes ongoing negotiations
The Friday sermon criticizes the Lebanese authorities for insisting on continuing negotiations with Israel despite their ongoing failure. It notes that the results of this round are no different from previous ones, with the enemy insisting on disarming the resistance before any progress is made. Meanwhile, the Lebanese government is not willing to make concessions and calls for stopping the negotiations to focus on internal issues related to daily life and social conditions. The preacher also warns against the danger of sectarian division and incitement of sedition, emphasizing the importance of relying on God and not placing hope in the United States, which has failed to impose its will on Iran. He urges national unity and calls for protecting Lebanon from external conspiracies.
