Loyalty to Resistance on Case Postponement
The Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc in Lebanon discussed delaying the referral of the explosive materials file to the Court of Major Jurisdiction, emphasizing the importance of protecting national sovereignty and securing the right of the resistance to defend Lebanon against Israeli occupation. They considered that the right of the resistance is legitimate and conflicts with any decisions that aim to restrict it. They noted that the decision to delay the case comes within the framework of addressing one of the security and political issues, but warned against the exploitation of international and regional policies to achieve agendas that harm Lebanon's sovereignty. The bloc also called for national unity and the avoidance of internal disputes to maintain stability. They reaffirmed that the international community bears responsibility for fostering tensions in the region and reiterated their rejection of any politicization of the explosives file, which threatens the security of the country.
