The Information Branch arrested a man after a video circulated showing him insulting a member of the Zgharta Traffic Detachment, other security personnel, and the officer in charge, near the Minieh district governor’s office. The incident followed rumors that his son and daughter had been pushed off their motorcycle. A circulating clip showed the officer trying to remove the motorcycle’s key to prevent it from leaving. The son later turned himself in to the Minieh police station, and disciplinary measures were taken against the officer for failing to stop the insults, despite having the legal authority to do so.
