The Holy Spirit University of Kaslik marked the 50th anniversary of the publication of *Holy Week*, the first book in the Divine Office series, published in 1976, with a conference on the history of Maronite liturgical renewal. Patriarch Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros al-Rahi stressed the need to preserve, revive, and pass on the liturgical heritage to future generations. He identified four responsibilities: scholarly research, formation, liturgical chanting and church music, and connecting prayer with daily life. The conference concluded by honoring the 90-year-old hermit Father Yuhanna Khound in recognition of his service to the Church and his contributions to liturgical texts.
