The Holy Spirit University of Kaslik, under the patronage and in the presence of Patriarch Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi, marked the golden jubilee of the 1976 publication of *Holy Week*, the first book of the Maronite Divine Office, at a conference on the history of liturgical renewal. Participants stressed that renewal brings together fidelity to tradition, openness to research, and the needs of the times. Al-Rahi called for continued scholarly research and formation, the preservation of liturgical chant and church music, and a closer connection between prayer and daily life. At the close of the conference, the hermit Father Youhanna Khound, aged 90, was honored in recognition of his service to the Maronite Church and his contributions to liturgical texts.
