Lebanon Front Plans
Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir visited Northern Command, the 91st Division and the Khiam area. He said the army would not allow Hezbollah to rebuild its capabilities or establish a military presence near the border, and that any threat to northern communities would be met with an immediate and forceful response. He was briefed on the “robotic combat team” model, which integrates robotic and technological systems into operations, and instructed that their deployment in combat units be accelerated to improve effectiveness and reduce risks to soldiers. He added that the army was prepared to expand its operations on the northern front if necessary.
