Patrols from the Department of Economy and Trade in southern Lebanon conducted inspections at warehouses storing meat and frozen food in Sidon and Tyre. They seized around 115 kilograms of meat, chicken, and cheese, some of which was found to be expired, while the rest did not meet storage requirements. The goods were impounded pending a request for the Public Prosecutor’s approval to destroy them. Reports of the violations were filed, and officials affirmed that inspections would continue and the necessary legal measures would be taken.
