Christine Boulos, a 32-year-old mother of two, was killed after being struck by a Los Angeles Police Department vehicle while crossing at a crosswalk in the San Fernando Valley on the night of October 31. The patrol car was on its way to assist officers responding to a report of a shooting at a house party, and its warning lights and siren were on at the time of the collision. Boulos was pronounced dead at the scene. A specialized traffic collision team is investigating the circumstances of the crash, while the party was cleared without any injuries being reported.
