Adam Driver put the speculation to rest, confirming that *The Hunt for Ben Solo*—which would have seen him return as Kylo Ren in *Star Wars*—had been canceled. He said he spent nearly two years developing the project with director Steven Soderbergh and writers Rebecca Blunt and Scott Burns. The script was ready, but Disney rejected it despite Lucasfilm’s interest, arguing that the character was dead. Driver felt the chance to make the film had passed, noting that the decision was out of his hands despite fans’ calls to revive the project.
