Israeli attacks continued in southern Lebanon, with artillery shelling targeting towns and areas including Baraachit, Wadi al-Saluki, Hadatha and the outskirts of Nabatiyeh al-Fawqa. Drones dropped sound bombs near al-Ameriya and Kfar Shuba, alongside military sweeps and movements, and an explosion in al-Qantara. In the Khiyam area, the Israeli army showcased its “robotic combat team.” Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir said robotic systems enhance the effectiveness and protection of troops, and ordered their integration into combat units to be accelerated. UNIFIL announced that its mandate will end on 31 December 2026. Its forces, drawn from 45 countries, will continue their missions until then, before their numbers are reduced and they withdraw.
