Israel Escalates in South
The Israeli army escalated its attacks in southern Lebanon, demolishing homes in Bani Hayyan and other towns and shelling several neighborhoods and areas, including Khiam, Aita al-Jabal, and Haddatha. It opened fire on olive farmers in Deir Mimas and detained one resident, taking him to an unknown location, while drones dropped stun grenades in Qabrikha and Sarbine. It also cut a military road from Safita–Yahmar Hill toward the Zawtar al-Sharqiyah River, amid incursions and military movements, as political circles awaited developments related to the Iran file.
