MP Salim Sayegh spoke at a farewell for Dr. Louis Hanine, recalling his moral and intellectual commitment, his role in founding the Kataeb Academy to train party cadres, and his participation alongside young people during the war despite his injury. He said that Hanine’s anger at Lebanon’s reality left his comrades with a duty they pledged to fulfill: to bring the country’s sons and daughters home, safeguard Lebanon’s message and the Kataeb’s intellectual heritage, promote dialogue, citizenship and development, and put Hanine’s vision of a neutral Lebanon into practice.
