US Congress criticizes Tel Aviv’s Syria actions
U.S. Republican Congressman Joe Wilson criticized Israeli policies in Syria, warning of an escalation in military operations within Syrian territory. He considered that continued actions harm Israeli interests and hinder the efforts of the Trump administration to counter Russian and Iranian influence in the region. Wilson praised the current administration’s policies, which have helped reduce Hezbollah and Iran’s influence in Syria, and called for a non-aggression agreement between Damascus and Tel Aviv to achieve regional stability.
