Dbeiba govt forms committee on outages

The Libyan Government of National Unity has announced the formation of an urgent committee to address the causes of power outages and improve the performance of the electricity grid. The committee held meetings to monitor the grid’s condition, focusing on activating the new South Tripoli Station project, which has reached 98% completion and is expected to be operational soon to enhance stability and reduce the generation deficit. The government also emphasized the importance of load management during peak periods to ensure continuous energy supply, amid repeated power outages and their impact on citizens and high school examination students.
