Education supervisor held on authority abuse

The Public Prosecution against Corruption at the Tripoli Court of Appeal has initiated an investigation into the case of the Education Supervisor of Souk Al-Jumaa Municipality. He is accused of abusing his authority to obtain unlawful benefits from a teacher. He reportedly exploited his position to influence the disbursement of approximately 65,000 dinars in financial entitlements in exchange for recommending their release. The prosecution has decided to remand him in custody pending further investigation. These measures are part of the prosecution's efforts to pursue practices of abuse of power within government institutions.
