Yemeni Soldiers Killed in Houthi Assault

Fourteen Yemeni soldiers were killed in an attack carried out by the Houthis south of Al-Hudaydah city on Yemen's western coast. The internationally recognized government forces were able to repel the attack after hours of fighting, resulting in casualties and injuries among the Houthis, with the clashes ending and calm returning to the area. The conflicts in Yemen date back to the Houthis' control over large areas since 2014, with a coalition led by Saudi Arabia intervening to confront the Houthis and support the internationally recognized government.
