2026 Moukar Tan Tan to coincide with Independence Day celebration
The city of TanTan will host the 19th edition of the TanTan Festival from October 30 to November 3, 2026, under the slogan "Between Heritage Authenticity and the Wheel of Development." The festival's activities will include horse riding displays (Tbourida), camel parades, traditional music and folk arts, with wide participation from the region. Additionally, the United Arab Emirates will take part as the guest country through a large delegation showcasing its heritage and traditional crafts, aiming to foster cultural exchange between local traditions and openness to other cultures. The festival lasts four days and seeks to promote national unity, as well as to promote Moroccan culture and heritage, coinciding with the Moroccan people's celebration of Unity Day on October 31.
